Financial Accountant / Project Accountant

Team Overview

Members of the Consolidation and General Accounting team provide accounting support to business activities, both domestically and internationally. The team is at the center of the financial reporting process which provides many growth opportunities to develop a strong foundation of skills for finance professional. This includes developing:

  • technical skills such as financial and managerial accounting, financial reporting systems, and internal controls;
  • communication skills including written, verbal and presentational skills;
  • leadership skills including opportunities to lead projects, work on a large team and build relationships across multiple functions;
  • operational skills including how to design and implement effective and efficient processes;
  • management skills including time and task management; and
  • develop an understanding of the complexities of a large multination corporation.
Job Description:
  • Facilitate, coordinate and perform various accounting tasks through the consistent application of standard processes and through the use of a defined checklist
  • Design and implement process and accounting controls
  • Evaluate, recommend, and/or implement improvements that contribute to increased efficiency
  • Apply technical accounting knowledge and General Ledger skills to resolve problems, identify improvement opportunities
  • Work in a team based environment and support department efficiency and standardization initiatives
  • Develop a basic understanding of company procedures and policies to be compliant in the preparation of reconciliations, record retention, preparation of year-end closing instructions, tax preparation
  • Maintain and update process documentation for all processes under management
  • Prepare and distribute ad hoc reports and obtain understanding business purpose to develop your end-to-end knowledge of various processes;
  • Financial and managerial accounting knowledge

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ ACCA/ CIMA/ CPA is required. (ACCA / CIMA finalist can be considered).


Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 3 years of Financial or Cost Accounting

Knowledge of MS Excel & Accounting System
